Keep Him Going

Ryan hasn't been able to make it to sessions as often as he'd like. He's trying to keep up by working on his own, but there's nothing like the real thing. Ryan implemented a lot of what he has learned into his play as the AAU season went on. The team went 68-5, and in the last tournament Ryan shot 47-75; 65%. The shots came from all distances, and both off the dribble and the pass. As far as I could tell, he did a lot of the things you showed him in getting and taking the shots. He was more explosive to the bucket for sure, and in the end developed a nice knack for drawing help, and then passing to the man where the help came from. He is a much more complete offensive player now than six months ago. He still needs to work on his right hand, and get more explosiveness. He had far less turnovers ...(per minute), and his ball handling is getting there, but still needs work.

Thanks,
Kent Sterling
