Chiropractic is a vital tool is helping athletes maintain their mobility while also assisting them in preventative care. Injuries are often neglected as athletes feel they can “tough” it out. As injuries progress, scar tissue and other harmful toxins build up in the area. If left alone, these injuries become chronic. Chiropractic, often with the aid of soft-tissue/neuromuscular rehabilitation work, can help correct the problem. By mobilizing the joint and slowly repairing the scar tissue, athletes heal and respond quicker. Benefits include: less time missed due to injury, properly healed tissue allowing maximal function, increased mobility over time, increased overall energy states, prevention from unnecessary injury, and many more! |
